Cool! A weblog! This is an easy way for me to update my Comments daily (add a little more stuff? bore you with even more mundane nonsense?) and for you to respond to comments or tag or just stare in bewilderment at the junk I just wrote and wonder why anyone would bother putting up such drivel...or...maybe post a favorite poem, or what the weather is like where you are, or just send me an emoticon tag. You're out there, I know you are, and I'm glad you've stopped in. :)
p.s. here, what you see is not just what you get - there are archived pages when this page gets full

Well, after a nice weekend of daughter visit, it's back to French. The last week of this session, and, less one day for son's all day test, then it's back to work for a while. I didn't post anything last week - I had a quiet Thanksgiving weekend, no daughter just son as we couldn't afford to travel, his dad or I. Expensive couple of weeks coming up. Son's test as I said before is $1250. Daughter's braces are coming off, which is dad's to come up with. His dad is still not working, I am full time and I'm getting a few dollars here and there cleaning toilets etc. at an office building. Jim works two jobs.
I've decided my next course to take and last night I sat there, hand on payment button knowing if I press that it may jeopardize my son's test so I hit the cancel button instead. The course costs $689, about what I have to come up with on Tuesday. When I mentioned the cost of tests etc. to someone I thought would help, I was jokingly told to call again if I don't have enough money to eat. That just guaranteed I will never ask for anything again from this person, even if I can't eat. Ha ha ha. If my son's medical test doesn't count, what the hell does?
Remind me not to get depressed, things actually are good, it's just stuff like that comment makes me sad. I've also just gotten over a week's worth of flu (and yes, I missed that much French too), and two days in a row of being called to son's school to go get him. Thursday was a gym class problem. Friday (Jim went) was he was sick. He was well enough to go with dad though which is good. 3 times sick this year so far, 2 times melt downs. Tell me how this can continue without him being home schooled and how I can possibly home school him and still have a roof over our heads? I think I'm leaping way ahead on that idea though, but it is serious, all these phone calls from school.
Anyway, if you are looking for my website, it has gone on vacation for a couple of days. We are in the middle of moving to a Canadian web hoster, and so my pages are packing their bags so to speak. Yes we do have a new host, just have to have Jim download the files to the new one. I'll also take this opportunity at some point in the next few months to completely redo my web site, as I'll have my own top domain instead of Jim's (that means that when you go to cathisplace.ca, it won't show up as aerendel.org/cathisplace) - but that's in a little bit. I'm not going to ask them to do that until I do have nice clean pages to post.
Well, that's it for now and have a nice week.
